Saco River Cruise
2025 Season
We are pleased to announce the schedule for our Historic Cruises presented by the Biddeford Historical Society for the summer of 2025. Captain Mike Massey will employ his noble vessel, the Marion B., a beautiful 28-foot cabin cruiser.
The cruises will begin at 10:00 AM from the Biddeford Pool Yacht Club located at 15 Yates Street in Biddeford Pool. Parking is available on the nearby street. The cruise will proceed up river to the urban area of Biddeford-Saco and then downstream and out to the open ocean at the mouth of the Saco River, circling Wood Island with excellent views of the Lighthouse.
You will have the opportunity to take in the vibrant beauty of nature as we round the outer islands of Biddeford Pool. Wood Island Lighthouse will surely capture your interest in all her majesty.
Narration for the cruise will be conducted by board member, Paul McDonough, a long-time educator in the public schools, YCCC and UNE.
Time
Time of departure is 10:00 am. Please arrive at 9:45 am. The cruise lasts about 2 hours.
Price
All payments must be done through Paypal at the time of registration to secure your seat. The price is $90.00. If the cruise is cancelled due to inclement weather or another reason, a full refund will be issued. There is no rain date.
Wait List
If there are no seats available when you attempt to secure your seat, please send us an email at biddhistsoc@gmail.com if you wish to be notified if seats become available at a later time. You are under no obligation to purchase the seats. We will simply notify you of the availability and you can choose to purchase the seat through Paypal as indicated above.

We are limited to six passengers per trip.
